The Peace Tara House

The rooms at The Peace Tara House include a Standard Room with a garden view, a Deluxe Balcony with an ocean view, and a Superior Triple Room with a mountain view. Room capacity runs from two to four guests.

A 30 m² room with a balcony sleeps up to three guests, and the Deluxe Room, Balcony sleeps up to four. Some rooms have air conditioning, blackout curtains and a private bathroom with a shower, while the bar, the spa and the sauna are shared facilities of the hotel.

A 24-hour front desk is open at the hotel, and the hotel offers an airport transfer, car hire, a shuttle service and a taxi service, as well as tours, ticket services and currency exchange. The Peace Tara House is in the Klong Nin Beach area of Koh Lanta, a long island in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Krabi province in southern Thailand. The area is a relaxed base for a beach holiday, and the sand is close enough to reach on foot from the hotel.

Klong Nin Beach is the nearest stretch of sand, 100 m from the hotel, and Khlong Top Noi Beach, a second beach, is about 550 m away on foot. Khao Mai Kaew Cave is another attraction 3 km away, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park lies 10.2 km away. Getting around the island is by road, but the nearest large airport, Krabi International Airport, is 61.8 km away on the mainland, so the trip ends with a boat crossing.

A full day could start with a swim at Klong Nin Beach, followed by a walk to Khlong Top Noi Beach and an afternoon at the national park if you have the time, with its forest trails and coastline. Evenings are for a slow walk along the sand and a drink at the hotel's bar, a good way to end a day out. The shared lounge and TV area also give you a quiet place to sit in the evening.
