The Patra

The rooms at The Patra come in several types, from the Super Deluxe with a country view to the Presidential Room, which measures 75 m² and has two bedrooms. Rooms can have air conditioning, a refrigerator, a microwave, a hair dryer and a shower, and some rooms have a balcony or terrace.

The area feels different from the old city, with everyday life on the streets and fewer visitors on foot. The streets around the hotel have small shops, a convenience store and an ATM close by, so everyday needs can be met without travelling far.

The Airport Rail Link Ramkhamhaeng Station is 1,000 m from the hotel, and the line runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport, 16.5 km away. Don Mueang International Airport is 18.6 km away. Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's best-known markets, is 8.7 km away, and the Islamic Center of Thailand and Seri Market are both close by. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, on the Chao Phraya river in the old city, are a longer trip across town.

A weekend could be spent at Chatuchak Weekend Market, which is open at weekends, while a separate day could take in the Grand Palace and Wat Arun. The hotel's fitness centre and room service make it possible to spend a quiet afternoon on site between outings, and in the evening the local street-food stalls along the main roads are a short distance from the hotel.
