The Orchid House

The rooms at The Orchid House measure 25 to 40 m², and their beds include double, single and queen beds. Several rooms have a street view, and the Superior Connecting Room has two bathrooms. Some rooms sleep up to five guests, and every room measures at least 25 m².

Depending on the room, you will find a private bathroom with shower, toiletries and towels, a hair dryer, a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, a mini bar and a refrigerator. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and bottled water is provided in some rooms.

Dining at The Orchid House includes a restaurant, a bar and a coffee shop, with room service also available. Asian and Continental breakfast is served, and a breakfast takeaway service is offered. Alternative meal arrangements can be made, too. The restaurant and bar are on the property, and room service is available to guests in their rooms.

Kata Beach and Karon Beach are two neighbouring beaches on Phuket's west coast, and the hotel sits on Kata Road with the sand 400 m away. The area has a relaxed, beach-town feel, with cafes, small shops and street-food stalls along the roads behind the beach. The west coast faces the Andaman Sea, so the beaches here are a popular choice for swimming, and the evenings are generally calmer than in the busier resort towns to the north.

Wat Kitti Sangkharam pagoda is 700 m from the hotel, and the Phuket Big Buddha, a large white statue on a hill above the island, is 1.5 km away. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, lies 4.7 km off and is one of Phuket's most revered temples. Phuket International Airport is about 32 km away, and Phuket is linked by road, so taxis, minibuses and hired cars reach the rest of the island.

A typical day could begin on Kata Beach, continue to the Big Buddha or Wat Chalong in the afternoon, and end with a meal at the Kata night market. Karon Beach lies just to the south, so a walk along the sand to a second beach is an easy way to fill a quiet morning.
