The Orange City Resort

Rooms at The Orange City Resort can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle and a hair dryer. The hotel has twin and double rooms as well as connecting rooms that sleep up to six guests.

Some rooms have a balcony or terrace and a window that opens, and blackout curtains and an in-room safe box are also provided. Daily housekeeping is part of the service.

Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, with a bay of sand fringed by limestone cliffs and a lively beach road lined with tour offices, cafes and small restaurants. The area is known for boat trips, rock climbing and beach days. Most of the activity runs along the beach road, so restaurants, tour offices and beach access are all a walk away from one another.

Noppharat Thara Beach is 900 m from the property, and Ao Nang Beach, the main beach of the town, is 1.7 km away. Railay Beach, 4.7 km away, is reached by longtail boat from the piers at Ao Nang, and Phra Nang Cave beach sits on the Railay peninsula. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside temple, is 14.8 km away, and Krabi International Airport is 19.3 km away. Poda and Tup islands are short boat trips from the piers, and the Hong Islands make a longer day trip by boat.

A good day could start with a longtail boat to Railay, with its limestone cliffs and the cave beach of Phra Nang, and end in the evening at the Wednesday Evening Market, a short walk from the property. Boat trips can be cancelled when the sea is rough, especially in the rainy season.
