Phuket International Airport is 17.2 km away, and Patong Beach, the island's best-known beach town, is 39.5 km off, so most trips here are by road.

A longer day could take in the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, two of Phuket's best-known sights, though they are a long way from the villas. Back in Khok Kloi, the Night Food Market is an easy place to eat in the evening, and the Khok Kloi Fresh Market is in the same area.
