For a longer day out, Had Chao Mai National Park, a coastal park of beaches and islands, is the natural choice from this part of the coast, and boat trips to the islands leave from the Pak Meng pier. Restaurants at the hotel give you somewhere to eat without going far, so an early start for the day trip is easy.
