Most sights here are reached by road, so a car makes the day easier.

Wat Chalong, the Chaithararam Temple, is one of the most important temples on the island and lies 950 m from the villa. Wat Siri Supharam, a pagoda 800 m away, is a quieter stop nearby. Big Buddha Phuket, a large white marble statue on the hills above the district, is 2.7 km away, and Chalong Pier, 4 km from the villa, is where boats leave for trips to the islands. Chalong Beach is on the bay of the same name.

A good day here starts with the morning at Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, then continues at the pier to watch the boats. Phuket International Airport is 29.5 km from the villa, and the trip from there is by road. Patong, with its beaches and nightlife, is a longer drive away and a different scene from the quiet of Chalong.
