The Montanas Resort Khaokho

Rooms at The Montanas Resort Khaokho look out over the mountains or the gardens. Some have a balcony, and the suite of 54 m² has a private balcony and a whirlpool bathtub. Some rooms have an electric kettle, bathrobes, a hair dryer and toiletries.

The best-known sight nearby is Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew, a temple set high on a mountain ridge 2.5 km from the resort, with views over the surrounding mountains. Two more temples lie close by: the Sitting Buddha Statue, 2.6 km away, and Wat Pa Khasamakhi, 3 km away. Ban Pa Kha and other mountain villages are also near, so a drive around the district takes in several places.

A typical day could start with a walk around the village and a visit to the temples, then return to the resort for the pool or the hot tub in the afternoon. Khaokho Boutique Camp, 6.6 km away, is a campsite for those who prefer to sleep outdoors. Because the sights are spread over the hills, a car or motorbike makes it easier to reach them.
