The Mercy Hotel

The Chumphon Night Market is 1.7 km away and the San Chao Mae Nia Keng temple 1.1 km, while the National Museum, 4.4 km away, shows the history of the province. A taxi is the simplest way to reach the sights further out.

A day could start at the San Chao Mae Nia Keng temple, continue to the National Museum and finish at the Chumphon Night Market in the evening. The Monkey School, 4.1 km away, is where monkeys are trained to pick coconuts, and it is one of the more unusual stops in the town. Evenings are the best time to explore the night market, when the stalls fill with local shoppers and the streets are lively.
