The Mercer Sukhumvit 4

The rooms at The Mercer Sukhumvit 4 run from the Deluxe Double Room to suites with up to four bedrooms. Bed set-ups range from a double bed to combinations of queen and king beds, and several rooms have a city view. Some of the suites also have a bathtub and a private bathroom.

The Grand Palace, the historic royal complex, is 6.8 km away, and Wat Arun, a riverside temple with a tall spire, faces it across the Chao Phraya river.

A day could begin at Jim Thompson House and continue to Siam Paragon by Skytrain. For a longer day out, pair the Grand Palace with Wat Arun across the river, or head to the Chatuchak Weekend Market, which is open at weekends. Siam Paragon can be reached on the Skytrain without a taxi, while the Grand Palace and Wat Arun call for a longer trip, by taxi or by boat across the river.
