The Mandison Bangkok

The rooms at The Mandison Bangkok include several suites, a Family Suite with Bunk Bed and a Deluxe Double Room, and each room sleeps between two and five guests. Some rooms have a bathtub, and several have a city view.

The area is busy and urban, with the skytrain running along the main road, so much of the city can be reached by train without a taxi. Behind the main road the soi lead to quieter residential streets.

Phrom Phong BTS station and the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre MRT station are both close to the hotel. Jim Thompson House, a museum of Thai silk set in traditional teak houses, is 4.4 km away. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is 7.9 km away, and the Grand Palace is 8.1 km away, while Wat Arun is just across the Chao Phraya river from the Grand Palace. Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside complex of shops and dining, is 7.1 km away.

For a first morning, Benjakitti Park is 550 m from the hotel, a large green space with a lake and shaded paths, before a short train ride into the centre. In the evening, the riverside at Asiatique is a good place to end the day. The old city, with its temples, is best visited on its own day, since the Grand Palace and Wat Arun deserve time.
