The Thye Guan Tong Shrine and the Wat Kajorn Rangsan temple are nearby too. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 6.6 km away and is one of the island's most important Buddhist temples. Patong Beach is 9.7 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 26.6 km from the hotel. Karon Beach and Kata Beach are the next beaches along the same coast, and Big Buddha Phuket is another popular stop for a day out.

A day here can start with the shrines and Sino-Portuguese houses of the Old Town, continue along Thalang Road and to the Thavorn Phuket Museum, and end at the Lard Yai Sunday Night Market, which is held on Sunday evenings. The Old Town is also a good place to see the older houses and temples of Phuket Town on foot.
