The Dragon Night Market is also nearby and is a good place for evening food. Karon Beach, 2.2 km away, is a longer and quieter stretch of sand along the same coast, and Phuket International Airport is 25.9 km away, with an airport transfer offered.

For a day out, the Big Buddha Phuket, a large white seated statue on a hilltop 6.1 km away, offers wide views, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), the most revered temple in Phuket, is at about the same distance. Plan the morning for both, then return to Patong for the evening, when the beach road and the night market are busy. Both sites are popular stops for visitors to the island.
