The little home

The little home is let as one apartment, with 28 m² of floor space, a queen bed and room for up to two guests. Air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower and a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels come with it, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Guests also find an electric kettle, a hair dryer, toiletries and towels, and the apartment has a city view and a balcony or terrace. All of these features belong to the same apartment, so guests have the whole home to themselves.

The little home is in South Thonburi, on the west bank of the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok. The neighbourhood is made up of local communities, temples and parks, with a more local feel than the historic districts across the water, and the sights most visitors plan for old Bangkok lie on the eastern bank.

The nearest sights are local. Wat Bang Mot Sothararam is a pagoda 1.6 km away, Orchid Park is a green space in the neighbourhood, and Thai Somboon Market is a neighbourhood market. Several ferry piers are in the area, and the river gives access to the old city across the water. Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, stands on this bank of the river, while The Grand Palace, the royal complex in Rattanakosin, is across it. The river is the main way across to the sights on the eastern bank, and the piers make that crossing possible from the neighbourhood.

A day out can combine Wat Arun with The Grand Palace across the river, and then continue to Asiatique - The Riverfront, a shopping and dining complex on the riverside. Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is 27.6 km away by road, so the city is a drive from the airport rather than a short trip.
