The Legend Maeklong

The Maeklong Railway Market, 400 m away, is the best-known sight nearby: the train runs through the middle of the market, and stallholders pull in their awnings as it passes. The Wat Phet Samut Worawihan pagoda is 250 m from the hotel, and King Bhumibol Adulyadej Park lies close by, with the Mae Klong train station also close to the resort.

A day trip can combine the railway market with the Amphawa Floating Market, around 4.7 km away, where vendors sell food and goods from boats along the canals. The King Rama II Memorial Park, honouring the Thai king, is also in the area, and the Amphawa Thai Dessert Museum is also in the Amphawa area. After a day out, massage, fishing and karaoke are all available at the resort, and the hotel's bicycle rental suits short rides around the town, so the evening can stay close to the hotel if you prefer a quieter end to the day.
