The Lantern Resort Patong

The rooms at The Lantern Resort Patong include studios, pent rooms of 44 m2, a 48 m2 one-bedroom apartment, and two-bedroom apartments of 90 m2. A quad room and a two-bedroom unit for up to seven guests are also offered. Some rooms look out on the city and others on the garden. Sizes run from 28 m2 studios to 90 m2 two-bedroom apartments, and the two-bedroom units sleep up to seven guests.

Beds vary from room to room, with king, double and single beds in different set-ups. The bathrooms of most rooms have bathrobes, a hair dryer and toiletries, and Internet access by LAN or wireless is available in several rooms.

The Bangla Boxing Stadium is also nearby, on the streets that fill up after dark.

The Jungceylon Shopping Center is 100 m away, and Bangla Road, the best-known street for bars and nightlife, is 400 m away. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is one of the most important Buddhist temples on the island and lies 6.4 km away. Several other places of worship are close by, including the Chinese Temple and Wat Suwan Khiriwong, and Phuket International Airport is 24.3 km from the hotel.

For a day out, the Big Buddha on its hilltop, 7.4 km away, offers wide views across the island. Kata and Karon beaches make a change from the sands of Patong, and Phuket FantaSea, a large cultural show and theme park, is also on the island. Patong suits a day of sightseeing followed by an evening in the streets around Bangla Road.
