The Lamoon Residence samui

The rooms at The Lamoon Residence samui are air-conditioned and have a private entrance and soundproofing. Every room has a private bathroom with a shower, towels, toiletries, a hairdryer, a flat-screen TV, linens, an electric kettle and a coffee and tea maker.

Each room has a queen bed and space for up to two guests, and the rooms measure 24 to 30 m². One of them has a balcony, and the guesthouse has a terrace for guests to share.

Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and WiFi also works in the public areas, with internet services for guests. The flat-screen TV is in the rooms, and air conditioning is provided in the public areas as well as in the rooms. The property is smoke-free and has non-smoking rooms.

Lamai is a beach area on Koh Samui, centred on a sandy beach with guesthouses, bars and shops along the road behind it. The Lamoon Residence samui is a short walk from the sand, so the beach is a natural first stop after check-in, and a pharmacy, a convenience store and an ATM are all within 250 m. It is a practical area for a beach stay, with the island's main sights a drive away.

The Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks, nicknamed Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, are 1.2 km away. Wat Lamai, a temple 1.3 km away, and the Lamai Night Market, about 900 m away, are also close by. Getting around usually means taxis, songthaews or a rented scooter, and Na Muang Waterfall and Big Buddha are the main trips out of the Lamai area.

A day could start with a swim at Lamai Beach, continue to the rocks and end at the night market in the evening, when the walk back to the guesthouse is the only trip left to make. Nearby attractions include boating and scuba diving, and Samui Airport is 9.8 km away for arrivals and departures, so the journey from the airport is the first part of any stay here.
