The Lamai Samui

Accommodation at The Lamai Samui ranges from suites to pool villas, with ocean, pool and garden views and room sizes from 45 to 165 m². Samui Airport is 8.5 km from the hotel, and the Big Buddha, the large Buddha statue on a hill at Bophut, is 11 km away. The island's main shopping centre, Central Festival Samui, is also a short drive away, and sights further afield, such as the Na Muang waterfall, are easiest to reach by car or scooter.

A good day could start with a swim at the hotel's private beach, followed by a visit to Wat Lamai and the evening stalls at the night market. For a fuller day, add the Big Buddha at Bophut or a drive to the Na Muang waterfall. On the way back, the hotel's garden and library offer a quieter end to the day. A walk along the beach is also a good way to see how the bay changes from morning to evening.
