The LA49 Hotel

The LA49 Hotel offers one-bedroom apartments and suites, along with two-bedroom suites and penthouses. Several units have city views, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The one-bedroom suite measures 40 m² and the one-bedroom apartment 45 m². The two-bedroom suites measure 70 m² and the penthouses 80 m². Some units sleep up to four guests. Sukhumvit is one of the city's main commercial and residential corridors, and the side streets around Thonglor are lined with restaurants, cafés and bars, so guests can eat and drink locally rather than on a tourist strip. The side streets are calmer than the main road, and the neighbourhood has a residential feel.

The Phrom Phong BTS station is 1.1 km away and the Thong Lo station is 1.3 km away, both on the Skytrain line that runs along Sukhumvit Road towards Siam. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre in the Siam area, is 4.9 km from the hotel, and Chatuchak Weekend Market is 7.8 km away. Most sights in the old city are a taxi ride away, so it helps to plan your days around the Skytrain for Sukhumvit and Siam.

A good day could start at Chatuchak Weekend Market, which is open on weekends and sells clothing, plants, food and crafts, and continue by Skytrain to Siam for lunch and shopping. In the evening, return to Thonglor for dinner. The Grand Palace, 9.6 km away, and the temples of the old city make a full day of sightseeing on their own.
