The Konnect Hotel

The Konnect Hotel offers rooms with single, queen and king beds, sleeping between two and five guests. Several rooms have air conditioning and a private bathroom, and two of them have a city view.

The Family Deluxe measures 40 m² and sleeps up to five guests, and the Deluxe Triple Room, at 33 m², has three single beds. The Deluxe City View King Room sleeps up to three guests and has a city view, a refrigerator, a desk and a window.

The hotel has a salon, a garden and a shared lounge with a TV area, and massage is available. A 24-hour front desk and a concierge are on hand, a taxi service is offered, and tours can be arranged. Room service is also available.

Guests can use luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, daily housekeeping, laundry service and express check-in and check-out. The hotel has an elevator and air conditioning in the public areas. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, WiFi also covers the public areas, and satellite and cable channels and telephones are offered as well. Guests can also sit in the garden or spend time in the shared lounge with its TV area.

The Konnect Hotel stands on Soi 17 off Petchaburi Road, in Pratunam, a busy commercial district on the Ratchathewi side of central Bangkok, where shopping malls, office buildings and street food stalls share the same few blocks. Pratunam is known for its wholesale clothing trade, and the streets around the hotel stay lively well into the evening. Here the shops and transport links are close at hand, rather than in a quiet residential neighbourhood.

The Airport Rail Link Ratchaprarop Station is 450 m from the hotel and runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport, 23.9 km away, while Phaya Thai station, nearby, connects the line with the BTS Sky Train. Siam Paragon, a large shopping mall in the Siam area, is 700 m away, and the MBK Center shopping mall and Jim Thompson House, a museum of Thai silk in traditional teak houses, are also close by.

A day of sightseeing could start at the Grand Palace, 5 km away, with Wat Arun on the bank of the Chao Phraya River, and include the Chatuchak Weekend Market, a large weekend market with stalls for food, clothing and crafts. Back in Pratunam, the malls and the evening food stalls make a practical return point after a long day out, and the hotel's garden and shared lounge give guests a quieter place to rest between outings.
