The Kinn

The Kinn's rooms measure from 26 m² to 54 m² and sleep from two to four guests. Options range from rooms with a city view to a 54 m² suite for up to four guests, and a 29 m² junior suite with a garden view. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Several rooms have a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathrobes, while others add a mini bar, a refrigerator or a kettle. Some rooms have a balcony, and one room has an openable window on a high floor.

The hotel has a lift, a shared lounge with a TV area, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, express check-in and check-out, and daily housekeeping. Laundry and dry cleaning services are available, and there is 24-hour security.

Meetings can be held in the hotel, and there are a terrace and a rooftop area, as well as an indoor venue for special events and a projector for presentations. Facilities for disabled guests are offered, and kids meals are also available.

The Kinn sits on Rama 9 Road in the Ratchada area of Bangkok, a mixed district of shopping centres, hospitals and residential streets across the Huai Khwang and Bang Kapi neighbourhoods. It is a useful base for seeing both the older temples and the newer shopping districts of the city from one address. That mix gives the hotel a more everyday character than the tourist districts around the old city, with its local streets and larger malls.

Phanphirom Park lies 350 m from the hotel and offers a green break from the traffic of Rama 9 Road. Central Plaza Grand Rama 9, a large shopping centre, is 800 m away, and Bangkok Hospital is also in the neighbourhood. The Airport Rail Link at Ramkhamhaeng station is 1.6 km away, a rail line that runs out to Suvarnabhumi airport. Siam Paragon, one of the city's best-known shopping centres, lies further towards the centre.

A day out could start at the Grand Palace, 10.5 km away, and continue to Wat Arun on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya river, then to Asiatique on the riverfront. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, 6.8 km from the hotel, is the place for a weekend morning of browsing. Jim Thompson House, a silk merchant's house museum, makes a different kind of afternoon.
