The Key Bangkok

The rooms at The Key Bangkok measure between 24 and 50 m², from the 24 m² Deluxe Room to suites of up to 50 m². Several of them have a city view, including the Executive Room, the Executive Suite and the 1 bedroom Suite, and a bathtub is part of the equipment in a number of rooms.

Children aged 1 to 11 can stay free when they use the existing bedding. The hotel does not offer twin beds, and the beds are king or queen size. Most rooms sleep two guests, and two suites sleep up to three. Rooms with a bathtub are spread across the range, from the Deluxe Room to the Executive Suite.

The hotel has a 24-hour front desk, a concierge and a doorman, and guests can use luggage storage and safety deposit boxes. Tours can be arranged, and there is also an airport transfer.

The Key Bangkok sits close to Asok, a busy junction where the BTS skytrain and the MRT subway meet. The area suits visitors who want to be close to the shops and nightlife of central Bangkok.

Asok BTS station and Sukhumvit MRT station are both 200 m from the hotel. Don Mueang airport is 20 km away and Suvarnabhumi airport 21.3 km, and the Siam Paragon shopping centre is 2.8 km away. Close by, the Kamthieng House Museum, a traditional northern Thai teak house, sits 150 m away, and the Jim Thompson House, the former home of the American silk entrepreneur, is a few kilometres further on. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest weekend markets in Bangkok, is further out.

A good day out starts with the old city, where the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, the temple on the Chao Phraya riverbank, are the main sights. You can finish at Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex, and in the evening the streets around Asok fill with street-food stalls and bars.
