The House Pratunam

Rooms at The House Pratunam can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, a desk, a window and a private bathroom with shower and toiletries. Several rooms have a city view, and the beds are single, queen, king or futon, depending on the room.

The streets stay lively by day and into the evening, and the area is a practical choice for anyone who wants to shop and eat out while using the city's train network to get around.

The Airport Rail Link Ratchaprarop Station is 350 m away, and the Phaya Thai Train Station is a short distance farther on, linking the hotel to the airports and the rest of the city. Siam Paragon, a large shopping mall in the Siam district with an aquarium and a cinema under one roof, and Jim Thompson House, a museum of traditional teak houses set around a canal-side garden, are among the best-known sights nearby. Baiyoke II Tower, a tall observation tower, offers views across the city.

A good day could start at Jim Thompson House, continue through the shopping streets of Siam, and end at Pratunam Market in the evening. On weekends, the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 5.2 km away, is worth the trip. Pratunam Market is 200 m from the hotel, so it is an easy stop for the evening.
