The Hive Hatyai Hostel

The Hive Hatyai Hostel has family rooms, private double rooms and dormitory rooms with bunk beds. Several rooms have air conditioning, a fan or a city view, and the family room measures 38 m² with a balcony. Several rooms also have a desk, lockers or a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have a private bathroom, while others share one with other guests.

Bunk beds furnish the dormitory rooms, while the double rooms have a king bed. A 29 m² room for up to four guests has two bunk beds and a private bathroom, and the female dormitory room measures 100 m² with one bunk bed.

The hostel has a bar, a kitchen, restaurants and room service, and a continental breakfast is available. Guests also have a shared lounge with a TV area, an elevator, daily housekeeping and a 24-hour front desk, and complimentary coffee and tea are provided.

The hostel stands in the central district of Hat Yai, the commercial city of Songkhla province in southern Thailand, on Nipatuthit 2 Road. The streets around it are built around markets and shopping: Kim Yong Market is 100 m away, while Santisuk Market and the Central Hatyai shopping centre are close by, and Our Lady of Lourdes Church is also nearby. Hat Yai is a city of shops and markets, and the streets around the hostel are busy during the day.

Hat Yai Railway Station is 400 m away and the Hat Yai Bus Station is 2 km away, so both trains and buses are close by. Hat Yai International Airport lies 11.5 km away, and an airport transfer is offered. Chue Chang Temple, a pagoda 350 m away, and the night market are close by, and Wat Hat Yai Nai is further across town. The Asean Night Bazaar Hatyai is another sight further out.

A day could start with the markets near the hostel, then head to Wat Hat Yai Nai and the Magic Eye 3D Museum, a museum of 3D artworks. In the evening the night market is a good place to eat and browse. Hat Yai Municipal Park is a public park for a break between sights, and it sits well away from the railway tracks.
