The Hidden Kaosan

Rooms at The Hidden Kaosan include a studio, a double room with a shared bathroom and a queen room with a shared bathroom, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk and a microwave.

Up to three guests can stay in the studio and the queen room, and the double room sleeps up to two. Toiletries and towels are provided in some guest bathrooms, and the queen room measures 12 m².

The area appeals to travellers who want to be close to the old city's temples and street life, though the streets stay busy late into the night.

Khao San Road is 50 m from the property, and the Grand Palace is 1.2 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside its grounds. Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, stands across the Chao Phraya river at 2 km, and the Jim Thompson House museum, which shows traditional Thai houses and silk, is one of the sights a little further afield. The Sam Yot MRT station and the Phra Arthit pier on the river are also nearby. For the airports, Don Mueang International Airport is 20.6 km away, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is further out.

A day could start at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, continue along the river to Wat Arun, and end on Khao San Road, where the evening is lively. Those who want a longer outing can head to the Chatuchak Weekend Market, a large market across town that opens at weekends.
