The Grand Rawadee

The station is the simplest way to go by public transport without a car.

Don Mueang International Airport is 11.4 km away and is the nearest airport, while Suvarnabhumi Airport is 31.2 km away. Nonthaburi Pier on the Chao Phraya river and the Museum of Nonthaburi are in the wider area, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 7.1 km away, is one of the best-known markets in Bangkok, with stalls for clothes, food and crafts. The market is open on weekends, so plan the visit around that.

For a day in the older part of the city, the Grand Palace is 12.1 km away, and the temple of Wat Arun stands on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya from the palace. A day in the old city can take in both sides of the river, with the Grand Palace and Wat Arun on the same route. Guests who drive will find free on-site parking.
