The Golden House @ Suvarnabhumi

The whole house is set over 280 m², with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a garden view, and room for up to eight guests. Its bedrooms are set up with a choice of bed set-ups.

Air conditioning, a TV, an in-room tablet, an electric kettle, a walk-in shower and a hair dryer are part of the house, with linens, towels and toiletries provided. Board games and puzzles are also available.

The house is about 8.6 km from Suvarnabhumi Airport, and the street is well away from the central districts of the city, which are about 28 km off. A stay here suits anyone who wants a base near the airport and a calmer pace than the tourist areas.

Wat Uthaithammaram, a temple 1.7 km away, and Hua Takhe Old Market, 3 km away, are the closest places to visit, and the Lady of Loundes Catholic Church is also in the area. Local life runs along the side streets, with small shops and food stalls around the markets, and the pace of the neighbourhood is slower than in the tourist districts.

A good day could start with a visit to Wat Uthaithammaram and an afternoon at Hua Takhe Old Market, then continue to Chatuchak Weekend Market, 28 km away, for shopping and street food. Travel between the airport, the temples and the markets is easiest by car or taxi, and the house is a convenient starting point for the northern side of the city, where the weekend market is, so one day can cover both.
