The Golddigger's Resort

The rooms at The Golddigger's Resort include 32 m² suites with garden views, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, and 12 m² deluxe rooms that also overlook the garden. Several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and a coffee and tea maker or an electric kettle.

A family suite sleeps up to four guests, and one deluxe suite has a balcony or terrace. Some rooms have satellite or cable channels, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The King Suite has a fan, and a refrigerator and linens come with the deluxe suite that has a balcony.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace, along with a restaurant, a bar, room service and a 24-hour front desk. Breakfast in room is offered, and so is an alternative meal arrangement, with a coffee shop on site.

Guests can use massage, laundry and ironing services, daily housekeeping, luggage storage and safety deposit boxes, and tours, car hire and a shuttle service can be arranged. An airport transfer is available, a concierge is on hand, and a kids meal is offered for younger guests.

Free parking is available, and Wi-Fi is also offered in the public areas. The property is wheelchair accessible and has facilities for disabled guests, and it has a family room and private check-in and check-out.

The Golddigger's Resort is in Sa Khu, in the Thalang district of northern Phuket, an area of beaches and national parks rather than the nightlife of Patong. Nai Yang Beach, a long stretch of sand within Sirinat National Park, lies about 750 m away. Temples and a mosque are close to the hotel, so the neighbourhood is more local than the resort strips further south.

Phuket International Airport is 2.8 km away, the closest airport to the hotel. Wat Mongkonwaram, a Buddhist temple, and the Ni Yang Night Market, with its evening food stalls, are close by, and a sunset viewpoint is nearby too. Patong Beach, 19.9 km away, is the island's main nightlife area, so it is the place to go for a livelier evening.

A good day could start on Nai Yang Beach, continue with a walk through Sirinat National Park, and end with dinner at the Ni Yang Night Market. Tours can be arranged for trips further afield, and the Splash Jungle Water Park, 3.4 km away, makes a change from the beach. The hotel's own pool and garden are there for the days between outings, and the airport is close for the start and end of a trip.
