The Grand Palace is 4.2 km away on the far side, reached by crossing the Chao Phraya.

A full day could begin with the temples close to the property, such as Wat Kantathararam, and end at Wat Arun by the river as the light fades. Ferry piers are nearby, so a crossing to the Rattanakosin side, where the Grand Palace stands, is easy to add to the plan.
