The rooms at The Expat Hotel Patong measure between 17 and 21 m² and sleep up to two or three guests. Several have a pool view, and some have a city view. Further out, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) is 6.5 km away, one of the island's best-known Buddhist temples, and the Big Buddha at 7.5 km stands on a hilltop with wide views. Phuket International Airport is 24.2 km away, and the hotel offers an airport transfer.

A day could start with a swim at Patong Beach, then continue to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, both reached by road. In the evening, Bangla Road and the night market are close to the hotel, and the Phuket FantaSea cultural show complex is another choice for an evening out. All of these are on the same island, so a single day can easily mix beach, temple and evening out.
