The Elegant Patong Hotel is on Ratchapathanuson Road, where the sand, the shops and the evening life are all close at hand.

Bangla Road, the town's best-known nightlife street, is 850 m from the hotel, and Jungceylon Shopping Center, a large mall with shops and restaurants, is 800 m away. Kalim Beach, 1.5 km away, is another stretch of sand that is easy to reach for a swim or a walk along the shore. Phuket International Airport is 23.6 km from the hotel, and it is the nearest airport.

A good day could start on the beach at Patong, continue along Bangla Road in the evening, and include a trip to the Big Buddha, one of the island's best-known landmarks, or to Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the most visited temples on Phuket. Phuket FantaSea, a large theatre and cultural show, is also a well-known evening out.
