The Grand Palace, 10.2 km away, and Wat Arun, a temple on the Chao Phraya riverside, are the main sights of the old city, while Siam Paragon is a large shopping centre in the Siam district.

A good day out could start at Chatuchak Weekend Market in the morning and continue in the old city, where the Grand Palace and Wat Arun stand on opposite banks of the river. Don Mueang International Airport is 14.1 km from the hotel, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is the other main option for international flights.
