The Connex Asoke

The rooms at The Connex Asoke measure between 21 and 34 m² and sleep up to three guests. Many have a king bed, while the Deluxe Twin Bed and Superior Twin Bed each have two single beds, and several rooms look out over the city.

Equipment varies from room to room. Some rooms have a bathtub, others a separate shower and bathtub, and air conditioning and cable channels are found in several rooms. A desk and a telephone are provided in some rooms. Rooms can also have blackout curtains, an in-room safe box and a mini bar. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The Connex Asoke is on Ratchadapisek Road in Klongtoey, part of Bangkok's Sukhumvit area. It is a dense, busy stretch where hotels, offices and shops line the streets, and the city's rail lines run close by. Rail access and busy streets make it a practical area for exploring Bangkok. The area has a mix of hotels, offices, shops and residential buildings, and the streets around the hotel are busy through the day.

Asok BTS Station is 100 m from the hotel and Sukhumvit MRT Station is 200 m away, so the Skytrain and the subway are an easy way to reach other parts of the city. Soi Cowboy, a side street off Sukhumvit Road known for its bars, is a short walk, and Siam Paragon, a large shopping mall, is 3.1 km away. The Jim Thompson House, a museum in traditional teak houses, is also nearby.

For a day of sightseeing, the Grand Palace is 7.7 km away and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Kaew, sits inside the same complex. Wat Arun stands on the Chao Phraya riverbank, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is a trip for the weekend. Benjakitti Forest Park is a green space close by, a useful break from the traffic.
