The Color Kata

The Color Kata has rooms from 20 m² to 110 m², with layouts for couples, families and larger groups. Beds include super king, king, double and single beds, and the Superior Family Room sleeps up to four guests with two king beds. The Three Bedroom Suite measures 110 m² and sleeps up to six guests.

The Penthouse with Terrace has a mountain view and sleeps up to four guests, and several rooms have air conditioning, blackout curtains and a private bathroom with shower. The Deluxe Double Room and the Budget Double Room measure 20 m² and 21 m² and sleep up to three guests each. The Family Room measures 28 m² and sleeps up to four guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The Color Kata is on Katekwan Road, about 300 m from Kata Beach, so the sea is close to the hotel without being directly on the sand. The beach road and the side streets have cafés, massage shops and small restaurants, so meals are easy to find within a short distance of the hotel.

Kata Night Market is nearby, with food stalls and local goods in the evening, and Kata View Point is also close by. Karon Beach, a long stretch of sand in the neighbouring bay, is 1.1 km away, and Patong Beach, Phuket's best-known resort beach with its bars and nightlife, is 7.3 km away. The Phuket Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hilltop, is a well-known sight, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 4.9 km away.

A day out can combine a swim at Kata with the Phuket Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, and the evening can end at the Kata Night Market. Phuket International Airport is 32.3 km away on the same island, so the journey is made by road.
