The coconut nanai resort

Air conditioning and a private bathroom come with every room at The coconut nanai resort. The rooms measure from 25 m² to 150 m², with queen and single beds in the sleeping areas, a family room for up to three guests and a duplex suite for up to eight.

The rooms have walk-in showers and electric kettles, and guests can use the outdoor swimming pool, the garden and the terrace. Room service is also available at the resort.

The outdoor swimming pool, the garden and the terrace are the main outdoor spaces, and there are outdoor seating areas as well. Table tennis, a fitness centre and a sauna are also available on site, and guests can sit outdoors in the garden or on the terrace whenever they like.

The traditional restaurant and room service cover meals at the resort, and the 24-hour front desk handles express and private check-in and check-out. Luggage storage and safety deposit boxes are available, and daily housekeeping is provided. Air conditioning is installed in the public areas too, and the resort also offers tours for guests who want to explore the island.

Patong is Phuket's best-known beach town, on the island's west coast, with a long sandy bay, a lively evening scene and a mix of restaurants, bars and night markets. Street-food stalls and massage shops line the streets around the beach. The resort is on Soi 3 Nanai, a side street away from the busiest roads, so the pool and garden stay calm while the beach and the shops are close at hand.

Patong Beach is 1.1 km away, and Jungceylon Shopping Center, 800 m from the resort, is a large mall with shops and restaurants. Bangla Road, the strip of bars and clubs that gives Patong its night life, is also nearby. For a day out, Big Buddha Phuket, a large white statue on a hilltop, is 6.5 km away, and Wat Chalong, one of the island's most important temples, is also worth a visit.

A good day could start on Patong Beach, continue to Big Buddha Phuket and Wat Chalong, and end with dinner and a walk down Bangla Road. Phuket International Airport is 25.1 km from the resort, and the rest of the journey is by road. For a longer trip, Phuket Town, the island's older centre with its Sino-Portuguese shophouses, is worth a visit.
