Nai Thon Beach and Layan Beach are further along the coast, reached by road through the same flat, green landscape of rubber trees and village roads. Phuket FantaSea, a large cultural show and theme park, is 15.2 km away for an evening out.

A good day could start with a swim at Nai Yang Beach and a walk through the national park, then a sunset from the Sunset viewpoint nearby. Big Buddha Phuket, the large seated Buddha on a hill, makes a fuller day out, and Patong Beach is the place for nightlife, shops and busy evening streets when you want them.
