The Chic Patong

The rooms at The Chic Patong include doubles with a queen or king bed and family rooms that sleep up to three guests. Several rooms have a mountain view, and a city view comes with one room that also has a balcony.

Patong is Phuket's largest beach resort, a busy town on the west coast with a long sandy beach and an evening scene that carries on late into the night. The Chic Patong sits in the Kathu district part of town, with the beach and the shops close enough to reach on foot.

Patong Beach is 450 m from the hotel, and Bangla Road, the town's nightlife street of bars and clubs, is 800 m away. Jungceylon Shopping Center is nearby, and Patong's night market is a short walk from the bars. Further out, Big Buddha Phuket sits in the hills 8.2 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 23.5 km from the hotel. Phuket is linked to the mainland by bridge, so the airport is reached by road.

Restaurants and bars line the streets near the sand. A good day can start on Patong Beach and continue with a visit to Wat Chalong, Phuket's most revered Buddhist temple, before the evening on Bangla Road. For a quieter afternoon, Kalim Beach, just north of Patong, is a calmer stretch of sand. Dive operators on the beach can arrange trips out to sea, and the evening is spent in the bars and street-food stalls of the town.
