Nai Yang Beach is 5.2 km away, and Naiyang national Park is 3.9 km away, with the Ni Yang Night Market nearby for evening food and local goods. Chaithararam Temple, also called Wat Chalong, is a well-known temple further away, and the Big Buddha Phuket, a large statue on a hill, is also worth a visit.

A day could begin with a swim at Mai Khao Beach, then a visit to Naiyang national Park, and an evening at the Ni Yang Night Market before returning to the hotel pool. Nai Yang Beach is another sandy stretch of coast to end the day on, while the Big Buddha Phuket makes a good half-day trip from the hotel, though it is the furthest stop of all.
