The Canale Samui Resort

Rooms at The Canale Samui Resort can have air conditioning, a kettle, a refrigerator, a hair dryer and a private bathroom with a shower, and several rooms have a bathtub. Some rooms have a mountain view, and the resort offers king, double and single beds across standard and superior versions of its rooms.

The superior double rooms sleep up to three guests, and the Family room offers a choice of bed set-ups. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, so guests can stay connected in any of them, and rooms can have a telephone and satellite channels as well, depending on the room chosen.

The Canale Samui Resort is on Koh Samui, an island in the Gulf of Thailand, and Chaweng Noi Beach is 250 m away, a short walk from the resort. Chaweng Yai Beach and Coral Cove Beach are also in the area, so there are several beaches to choose from. The streets around the resort mix small shops, village lanes and hillside temples, and Ko Samui Hospital is also close by.

Samui Airport (USM) is 4.2 km from the resort, and the Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hill, is 6.7 km away. Wat Plai Laem, known for its large Guanyin statue on the coast, is nearby, and Wat Chaweng, a pagoda, is in the same part of the island. The Samui Elephant Sanctuary in Bophut is in the area too, so the choice of things to see does not need a car trip to each one.

A day could start at the Big Buddha and Fisherman's Village in Bophut, then continue to Lamai Beach, 4.4 km away. Na Muang Waterfall, 8.4 km away, makes a good outing inland from the coast, and a night market and a walking street are also nearby. The resort's own restaurants and room service mean an evening can stay on the property.
