The C Gate Hotel

Rooms at The C Gate Hotel are designed for comfort, with welcoming decor and essential amenities, and some of them have air conditioning. The rooms include standard rooms with a city view or a garden view, a deluxe room with a sea view, a 22 m² Silver Suite and a basic room on the first floor.

The C Gate Hotel stands on Sanam Bin Road in the Choengmon area of Koh Samui, a short distance from the village of Bo Phut and the Bang Rak shore. Koh Samui has a long coastline of bays and hills, and this part of the island places beaches, temples and the airport close together. Hat Bang Rak beach is 400 m away, the nearest stretch of sand to the hotel.

Samui Airport is 1.3 km from the hotel, on the island itself, so the journey from the airport is brief. Chaweng Beach, 3.2 km away, is the island's best-known stretch of sand. Nearer to hand, the Big Buddha, a large seated Buddha statue on a hill above the coast, and Wat Plai Laem, a temple complex with a large Guanyin statue and a lotus pond, are each 1.3 km away. Fisherman's Village, an old harbour turned district of shops and cafés, lies a little further along the coast.

A day could begin with the temples at Plai Laem and the Big Buddha, continue with a walk through Fisherman's Village, and end on the sand at Hat Bang Rak. The fish market at Bang Rak and the Bangrak Seatran Pier are close by for those who want to see the coast at work.
