The Buda Resort Muaklek

Every room at The Buda Resort Muaklek has a private bathroom with towels, toiletries and bathrobes. Room sizes run from 39 to 72 m², and the rooms sleep between two and four guests, with mountain views in several of them. Each room is described below with its own size, bed and equipment, so the choice is clear from the start.

Some rooms have a balcony or terrace and a private entrance, and some have a bathtub, a walk-in shower or a pool view. Flat-screen TVs and satellite or cable channels are available in several rooms. The rooms include family rooms, villas and a pool villa, so sizes and views vary.

The Buda Resort Muaklek sits in the Muaklek area of Khao Yai, in Saraburi province in central Thailand. The setting is green and quiet, with forest and farmland around it, and the main draw of the area is nature: waterfalls, forest scenery and the wider Khao Yai region. Both airports, Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi, are over 100 km away, so the drive from Bangkok is part of the journey.

The Tree Tunnel, 2.6 km away, is a stretch of road arched over by trees, and Ched Sao Noi Waterfall National Park, 3.4 km away, is where the seven-tiered Chet Sao Noi falls drop through the forest. The Wat Ched Sao Noi pagoda and the Rimthan water fall are close by as well. Heo Suwat Waterfall, inside Khao Yai National Park, is further away, and it is one of the best-known falls in the area.

A car is the easiest way to get around, since the falls and the outlet are spread across the area, and the resort has on-site parking and a car power charging station. A day could start at the Tree Tunnel and the Chet Sao Noi falls, continue to Heo Suwat Waterfall in Khao Yai National Park, and finish with shopping at the Premium Outlet Khao Yai.
