The Blooms Residence

Every room at The Blooms Residence has air conditioning and a balcony or terrace. The rooms measure 20 to 27 m² and sleep up to two guests each, and they are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite or cable channels, a shower, a refrigerator and a desk.

Bedding includes a king bed and a choice of bed set-ups. The rooms also have WiFi, and housekeeping visits every day, so the space is kept in order from one day to the next.

Guests have a 24-hour front desk, a concierge and 24-hour security, and luggage storage is available. Meals are served in a restaurant and a coffee shop, and room service is also offered.

Laundry is handled by a laundromat and a laundry service, and both are available to guests as two separate ways to wash clothes. The property also has business facilities, a salon, a convenience store and shops, and an elevator. English and Thai are spoken at the property.

Parking is free and on site, so guests who drive can keep the car at the property, and WiFi is available in the public areas. Daily housekeeping is provided for the rooms.

The Blooms Residence stands on Soi Sribumphen, a side lane off Yen Arkard Road in the Thungmahame area of Sathorn. Sathorn is one of Bangkok's main business districts, with office towers, hotels and residential lanes running off the big roads, and the area is well connected to the rest of the city by rail and road.

Taxis and the MRT are the simplest ways to move between the main sights. The Khlong Toei MRT station is 500 m away on the Blue Line, which passes Silom and Sukhumvit, and Suvarnabhumi Airport lies 21.6 km to the east. Jim Thompson House, a teak-built museum of Thai silk and art, is 4.3 km away, and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, sits on the far bank of the Chao Phraya.

A good day could begin at the Grand Palace, 7.5 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha beside it, and then continue to Wat Pho, known for its giant reclining Buddha, before crossing the river to Wat Arun. In the evening, Asiatique - The Riverfront offers a riverside setting for dinner, and Khaosan Road is a lively street of bars and guesthouses. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, in the north of the city, is open only at weekends.
