The hotel is on Phuket Road, with the local bus station 500 m away, and the Sangtham Shrine, the Thavorn Museum and the Phuket Philatelic Museum are within a few hundred metres. Wat Chalong, one of the island's most important temples, is 7.2 km away, and Patong Beach, one of the best-known beach areas on Phuket, is 10.8 km away. Kata and Karon beaches, two of the best-known bays, are a little further on, and Phuket International Airport is 27.3 km away.

A day here can start with the old town's shophouses and a walk along Thalang Road, then continue to Wat Chalong and to the Big Buddha, a large white statue on Nakkerd Hills. Lard Yai Sunday Night Market, a few hundred metres from the old town, is a good stop in the evening on a Sunday, and the Phuket Philatelic Museum is close to the hotel for a quieter hour.
