Air conditioning is in every room at The Best House&Hostel. The rooms are set up for one to three guests, with single, double, queen and king beds, and some rooms have a private bathroom while others share one.

Suvarnabhumi Airport, the newer of the two, is further out. The district has temples, small shops and local markets, and everyday life is visible in its streets and food stalls.

Don Muang Railway Station is 800 m from the hotel, and Wat Don Muang, a temple with a pagoda, sits in the same neighbourhood. For a bigger day out, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 15.1 km away and is open at weekends, with stalls selling clothes, food, plants and crafts. The Grand Palace is 22.8 km away in the old city on the Chao Phraya river, and Wat Arun stands across the river from it.

A good day could begin at the Grand Palace and continue to Wat Arun, then to the Chatuchak Weekend Market, which is open at weekends. Back near the hotel, the Royal Thai Air Force Museum, with its collection of aircraft, makes an easy afternoon visit, and the open-air night market is a good place to end the day.
