Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is a well-known Buddhist temple complex 5.6 km away, and the Big Buddha statue on Nakkerd Hills is further out. The Phuket Town local bus station is a few kilometres away, and the Lomprayah Bus Terminal is closer.

A day could start at the Aquaria Phuket aquarium, continue at Wat Chalong, and end at Patong Beach, 7.6 km away, where the beach and the evening scene on Bangla Road are the main draw. Phuket International Airport is the nearest airport, and the island is joined to the mainland by a bridge, so the trip to the hotel is made by road.
