The Banyan House

The rooms at The Banyan House can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, a hair dryer, a coffee or tea maker, an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. The Happiness Double Room measures 48 m² and sleeps up to three guests, with a choice of bed set-ups.

The hotel also has a room assigned on arrival and a double room with a garden view, both for up to three guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the rooms can have a separate dining area and a balcony or terrace.

Patong is one of Phuket's best-known beach towns, and the streets behind the sand stay busy into the evening with stalls, bars and night life. The Banyan House sits in this part of the town, where the beach, the shopping centre and the nightlife street are all a few minutes apart by road and on foot, and the sea is the first thing you reach on the way down the hill.

Kalim Beach is 100 m away and Patong Beach, the main stretch of sand, is 550 m away. Bangla Road, the nightlife street, is nearby, and Jungceylon Shopping Center is close by too. Kata Beach is another well-known stretch of sand, and the Big Buddha sits on a hill 9.5 km away.

A day can mix the beaches of Patong with a visit to Wat Chalong, Phuket's best-known temple, and a trip up to the Big Buddha, a large seated statue. Phuket International Airport is the nearest airport, and the hotel offers a taxi service and tours for trips further afield. After dark, Bangla Road is the place to see the town at its busiest, and the beach is the place to spend the afternoon before the lights come on.
