Phrom Phong BTS Station is 500 m away and Thong Lo BTS Station is 750 m away, so the Skytrain is the simplest way to reach the rest of the city. Siam Paragon, the large shopping centre at Siam, is 4.6 km away, and Jim Thompson House, a museum of traditional Thai houses, is 5.3 km away. Benchasiri Park, a green space with a lake and a running track, is 650 m away.

A day in the area can start with a morning around Benchasiri Park, then a Skytrain ride to Siam for shopping, and finish at the Soi 38 Night Market, which is close by. Chatuchak Weekend Market is further north and is best treated as a day out of its own, while the Grand Palace and Wat Arun sit in the older part of the city, a taxi ride away.
