The Auto Place

Rooms at The Auto Place include a Superior Double Room of 15 m² with a king bed for two guests, along with a Standard room and a Room Assigned on Arrival that both sleep up to three guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Within a few streets the mood shifts from quiet residential lanes to busy food stalls, so the area rewards wandering.

Chillva Market is 750 m away, a local market with street food and fresh produce, and Wat Khao Rang, a temple on a hill above the town, is 1 km away. Phuket Old Town is 2.3 km from the hotel. The island's main beaches are further afield, with Patong Beach 8.9 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 24.5 km away.

A good day could start at Chillva Market, then a walk along Thalang Road in the old town to Baan Chinpracha, a Sino-Portuguese mansion turned museum. The old town rewards a slow walk between its shophouses and shrines, so allow a few hours for it, with time for a stop at the shrines along the way. Finish with the climb to Wat Khao Rang for the view over Phuket Town, or visit Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, one of the island's most important temples.
