The Arbern Hotel x Bistro

The rooms at The Arbern Hotel x Bistro start at 20 m² and sleep up to three guests. Every room has a shower, toiletries, towels, a flat-screen TV and a telephone, and each one sleeps two or three guests.

The Superior Room, Private Room 1 and Standard Room have city views, and the Deluxe Room and Sky Suite have mountain views. Several rooms have air conditioning, and the bed set-ups vary from room to room. The Standard Room has a double bed and two single beds, the Deluxe King has bathrobes, and the Deluxe King Suite and Studio Room have an alarm clock.

Dining at the hotel covers a restaurant, a bar and a coffee shop, with food delivery and an Asian breakfast offered. The garden, the shared lounge/TV area and the game room are also part of the property.

The hotel stands in Talad Yai, a district of Phuket Town, the island's provincial capital on the east coast. The area has a local feel rather than a resort one, with markets and temples close at hand. The old town's Sino-Portuguese architecture gives the district its character, and Phuket Town sets a different pace from the beach resorts on the west coast.

The old town is about 600 m away, and the Peranakan Museum and the Lard Yai Sunday night market are both within a short walk of the hotel. Wat Mongkol Nimit, a pagoda, is also nearby. Phuket International Airport is 26.6 km away, and the hotel offers an airport transfer. By car, Wat Chalong is 7.8 km away and Patong Beach is 10.8 km away, and free parking is available on site. The Big Buddha, a large hilltop statue, is another day trip from here.

A good day could start with a walk through the old town and a visit to the Trickeye Museum, whose 3D artworks invite visitors to pose inside them. Then continue to Wat Chalong, one of the island's most revered temples. If your visit falls on a Sunday, the Lard Yai night market is a short walk away, and for a beach afternoon, Patong is the best-known resort on the island.
