The apartment sits close to the BTS Skytrain, so getting around the city by train is straightforward.

The Saint Louis BTS station is 450 m away and Chong Nonsi BTS station 600 m, both on the same Silom line. The Sri Mariamman Temple, a Hindu temple with intricate carvings and colourful statues, is close by. Patpong Night Market is in the same district, and the Jim Thompson House, the former home of the American silk entrepreneur Jim Thompson, is a museum a short distance away.

Wat Arun, on the Thonburi bank of the Chao Phraya, is 4.4 km away and The Grand Palace in the old city is 4.5 km. The Oriental Pier, 1.1 km from the apartment, is a Chao Phraya riverboat stop for trips to the temples, and a day on the river can end back in Silom for the evening markets. Keep the evening free for a walk along the streets around the apartment, where the food stalls and night markets are busiest.
